While Iceland’s capital is small compared to many cities around the world, it faces many of the same urban challenges affecting European capitals today—including traffic congestion, growing demand for affordable housing, over-tourism, and the need for greater climate resilience.
During the event, the Council’s Europe Director, Prof. Dario Trabucco, will present CVU’s vision for sustainable urban growth. The gathering will also provide an opportunity to learn from Reykjavik’s own achievements and explore how the city is leading the way in several areas of innovative urban management.
