One Willoughby Square, a 34-story, 46,451-square-meter (500,000-square-foot) tower in Brooklyn has opened. The building includes office space, retail, and a public school for 300 students.
The building’s lobby features nine-meter (30-foot) ceiling heights with floor-to-ceiling glass and a touchless entry sequence. In addition, 1 Willoughby Square will have a tenant lounge, conferencing facilities, communal outdoor space as well as a separate entrance off the neighboring park, 250 bike parking spots, locker rooms and showers.
FXCollaborative designed the building and is also the anchor tenant, with three full floors totaling 3,716 square meters (40,000 square feet). The firm is moving this summer after 40 years in their Manhattan location.
