A 31-story residential building has been proposed in front of the JR Koiwa station in Tokyo.

JR Koiwa Station North Exit District Type 1 Urban Redevelopment Project from Mitsui Fudosan Residential and Nippon Steel Kowa Real Estate will create a 6,100 square-meter plaza on a two-hectare site. It would connect to the station with a pedestrian deck.

In addition, an apartment building totaling 94,709 square meters would provide 730 residences. It would also house commercial uses and a nursery school. A bicycle parking lot is planned for the 5th floor. The total planned height is 110 meters.

Construction is expected to start in March 2022, with completion anticipated by January 2027.
