The fourth and final phase of a residential project in Manchester is moving forward.

The Islington Wharf 16-story residential building from developer Waterside Places, which specializes in developing urban waterfronts, will deliver 106 one- and two-bedroom apartments over two volumes at 11 and 16 stories respectively. Half of the units will be available through shared ownership.

To date, the wider Islington Wharf development has brought forward 348 homes, from one-bedroom apartments to four-bedroom family townhouse homes.

The Islington Wharf site sits within the Piccadilly Basin, on the corner of Great Ancoats Street and Old Mill Street. The scheme is well-placed for walking, cycling and public transport, enabling residents to access the amenities and employment opportunities within the city and further afield.
