A new housing tower could sprout in downtown San Jose, a project that would add several hundred residential units near Google’s transit-oriented neighborhood.
Apollo, the proposed name of the development, is envisioned as a residential high-rise that would replace a long-time car wash at the corner of East Santa Clara Street and Stockton Avenue, according to project developer Urban Catalyst.
The housing high-rise is slated to include 400 units, according to a preliminary proposal that project developer Urban Catalyst has begun to float with San Jose planners.
The tower is expected to be 16 stories high and will be located at 32 Stockton Ave.
