Ghelamco has sold the Warsaw Hub office complex together with a retail and service passage to Google Poland for a sum that is expected to be around €583 million (636 million).
Google Poland is one of the main tenants of Warsaw Hub, where it occupies 20,000 square meters of office space. Now the company has become the owner of the 75,000-square-meter office section, the retail and service passage as well as the underground part of the complex. The value of the transaction is to be determined on the day the final agreement is signed and is expected to amount to almost €583 million (US$636 million).
The Warsaw Hub is a multifunctional skyscraper complex situated in the business district around the Rondo DaszyĹ„skiego roundabout. It was developed by Ghelamco and came into use in mid-2020. Altogether, the complex comprises 113,000 square meters in three sections: an €86 million (US$93 million) hotel building (housing The Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn Express hotels) and two 130-meter-office towers connected with a common five-story podium. The hotel section is still to be owned by Ghelamco.
CBRE advised Ghelamco for the sale of the office, retail and underground section.
