A development application has been submitted for a majority-residential project at 15-17 Mollison Street and 35-39 Bank Street, West End, known as Bank & Mollison. The 10-18 story building was submitted by Unison Projects. Rothelowman is the architect.
The apartment complex would bring 101 apartments and would feature openings for natural ventilation and stepping of the tower forms to create the image that it is three towers.
At the ground plane, a landscaped public open space and activity-generating creative space activate Mollison and Bank Streets, and link it to the streetscape. A companion parkland is built out in response to solar orientation and microclimate.
