The proposed 562,700 square foot 8th, Grand & Hope development is set to rise in Los Angeles and add an additional strip to the downtown L.A. skyline. The L.A. City Planning Commission approved Mitsui Fudosan America’s plan to build the 50-story tower.

The Gensler-designed plan will feature 580 residency units, amenity decks for residents, 7,500 square feet of commercial space, and 640 parking spaces. The building will reside along the north side of Eighth Street between Grand Avenue to the east and Hope Street to the west.
