CTBUH has confirmed that Selton Skye in Accra, Ghana is progressing in its initial excavation and construction of the foundation. This 27-story residential development, whose distinct design had been unveiled to the public in early 2024 and was stated for completion by the end of 2026.
Located in the heart of Accra, off the N1 Highway the project consists of two towers on a shared 2-story podium, that are seemingly “pulled” apart. With one building stepping as it rises, providing terraced areas, while the other acts as the “negative” and cantilevers over these areas, providing passive shading. The design inspiration is said to have come from Ghana’s Adinkra Symbol ‘NSAA,’ signifying quality workmanship, genuineness, excellence, and authenticity.
The development will offer an assortment of apartments, from one-bedroom units to an expansive sky-level penthouse. With an array of unit types, Selton Skye is set to cater to the diverse needs of homeowners and investors. Amenities will include an on-site grocery store, a pharmacy, concierge and 24-hour security services, co-working spaces, a movie theatre, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a sky lounge and pool, a restaurant overlooking a communal courtyard piazza, and breathtaking panoramic sky views.
CTBUH will continue to monitor the progress and provide updates as construction continues.
