Who are our mentees?

CTBUH mentees are emerging professionals—typically with fewer than 10 years of experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry—who are eager to grow, learn from experience, and build meaningful professional relationships. An ideal mentee:

  • Asks thoughtful questions and clearly communicates the type of support they need
  • Is open to receiving constructive feedback and learning from it

Driven by our global Future Leaders

The mission of the CVU Global Future Leaders Committee is to share knowledge, experience, and skills with the next generation of leaders within the CTBUH network to help improve connections, cross-industry communication, and performance.

Guided by a mentoring framework

To help guide participants through a structured and meaningful experience, the CVU Mentorship Program follows a suggested timeline. This framework outlines key milestones—from your first meeting to program wrap-up—ensuring that both mentors and mentees stay aligned, focused, and on track for success throughout the journey.

Remember, goals can evolve—be open to adjusting them, and share feedback regularly to keep the relationship strong and beneficial for both parties.
