A topping out ceremony was held in Adelaide for Yugo Adelaide City.
The AU$110 million (US$81 million) project from student accommodation provider Global Student Accommodation (GSA) reaches 118.8 meters. It will provide 725 bedrooms and extensive communal areas.
The property is located on the corner of North Terrace and Frome Street, and directly opposite the University of Adelaide, the City East Campus of the University of South Australia and the Lot Fourteen innovation hub.
Amenities will include study spaces, outdoor terraces, a gym, cinema, communal kitchens, and lounges with dining and laundry facilities. A management and residence team will be on-site around the clock.
The property will be operated by Yugo (previously The Student Housing Company Australia).
Completion is anticipated by early 2022.
