Construction is complete on VU, a 36-story residential tower at 368 Third Avenue in the Midtown, Manhattan neighborhood of Kips Bay. Designed by SLCE Architects and developed by Minrav Development, the 145,000-square-foot (13,470-square-meter) structure yields 100 condominium units in studio to three-bedroom layouts and duplex penthouses with interiors designed by Paris Forino. Brown Harris Stevens Development Marketing is exclusively handling the marketing and sales for the property, which is located on Third Avenue between East 26th and East 27th Streets.
In January, 2022, work was still concluding on the façade, with workers installing the bronze and gray metal paneling between the grid of floor-to-ceiling windows. Most of this work has wrapped since then.
VU’s relative isolation from other tall structures will provide residents with prime views of the Midtown skyline and the adjacent NoMad district, which has seen considerable vertical progress over the past several years. Only a small amount of sidewalk scaffolding remains around the main ground-floor entrance along Third Avenue, but should be removed in the coming weeks.
