A £50 million (US$70 million) 17-story residential development, which has been built on the site of Elliott’s Car Accessories in Coventry, has been topped out by Farrans Construction for NSG Developments.
The development, located on the corner of London Road and Gulson Road, consists of two separate buildings and 200 apartments. It has been named Elliott’s Yard as a tribute to the automotive business and the family that has had a legacy on the site since 1908.
Construction methods employed in the project include modular, precast concrete sandwich panels. The concrete wall panels have been delivered to site with windows including glass already pre-installed and sealed.
Occupancy is anticipated by October 2021.
