A draft of the large-scale redevelopment Nihonbashi 1-chome East District Type 1 Urban Redevelopment Project planned in Nihonbashi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo has been released. Mitsui Fudosan, Tokyu Land, Nittetsu Kowa Real Estate, and Shimizu Corporation are participating as business cooperators in the Nihonbashi 1-chome East District Urban Redevelopment Preparatory Association.
It is a large-scale redevelopment with a total area of ​​approximately 19,210 square meters. In the complex, Block A will consist of a skyscraper of 40 stories slated to reach a height of approximately 240 meters with an area of 240,000 square meters. Construction is planned to begin in 2026 and is scheduled to be completed in 2030.
Block B will rise to 52 stories and a height of 225 meters, with an area of approximately 120,000 square meters. It will contain residential space, serviced apartments, living support facilities, and retail. Construction will begin on this portion in 2031 with a completion date of 2034.
