An iconic component of the Downtown Houston skyline is set to undergo a US$50 million renovation. The developer, Cameron Management, is planning to convert the Esperson office complex, offices to luxury apartments with Gensler as the designer.

Construction will begin in November 2022 on 10 units, to have them ready in early 2023, and gradually adding up to 100 units. The initial plan is to provide 9,290 square meters (100,000 square feet) of residential space, 37,161 square meters (400,000 square feet) of office and 9,290 square meter (100,000 square feet) of flex/common space.
