The government has been asked to call in Allford Hall Monaghan Morris’s approved plans for a tower in the Square Mile.
The controversial plans for a 24-story office tower in Houndsditch were approved by the City of London’s planning committee last month but later became the first application to be referred to City’s Court of Common Council in 34 years.
The planning application was due to be discussed at the City’s ultimate decision-making body last week after 28 councillors signed a notice of referral. In it, they raised concerns about aspects of the application which, they allege, were overlooked.
