A Patina Hotels & Resorts-branded property is planned for Osaka by 2025. This will be the second hotel under this luxury brand to open worldwide, following the Patina Maldives in 2021.

Located near the landmark Osaka Castle, Patina Osaka will contain 220 guest rooms that are 50 square meters in size. A sky lobby overlooking Osaka Castle and Naniwa-no-miya Park will feature in the hotel as well. 

Construction on the 20-story, 102-meter tall hotel is scheduled for January 2023, and is being developed by NTT Urban Development Corporation on the site of the former NTT West Japan Head Office.
