Allford Hall Monaghan Morris has been given planning consent to build 800 new homes and student apartments in south-east London as part of a master plan by HOK and Hawkins Brown.

Lewisham Council gave its consent earlier in June 2023 to detailed plans for five buildings by the AJ100 practice on Plot 5 of Deptford Landings on behalf of developer Lendlease.

The AHMM proposals will create 405 residential units, 35 percent of which will be affordable, and 382 student bed spaces across tower blocks. These will range in height from 6 to 29 stories.

Councillors also approved substantial changes to plans by HawkinsBrown and HOK for two other plots, where permission was sought for height increases on several buildings, the removal of a building by HOK, and a redistribution of residential units.

A 24-story tower with outline consent will now rise to 35-stories on Plot 1; another block increases from seven to eight stories also on Plot 1; and a third tower on Plot 3 will now rise to 14 stories, up from 10.
