Eglinton Avenue has been awash with development in recent years, of which Madison Group’s recently submitted plans for a a two-tower mixed-use development located at 110 Eglinton Avenue East, is a part. Located between Yonge Street and Mount Pleasant Road, the development will have a gross floor space area (GFA) of 94,903 square meters. Turner Fleischer Architects are the designers.

Sitting atop a nine-story mixed-use podium and rising to 59 and 57 stories and heights of 207 and 201 meters, respectively the development is defined visually by a prominent curved recession on the south elevation. The proposal offers 1,116 new aparrment units as well as retail and office space and the non-residential program is set to occupy the podium.

The mostly rectangular site has a total area of 5,450 square meters, with a 91-meter frontage along Eglinton Avenue East. Two buildings, which would both be demolished under the sceheme, occupy the site currently at 110 Eglinton Avenue East.
