In Toronto’s Islington Village area of Etobicoke, a 24-story residential building has been proposed at 12 Cordova.

Developed by Minto Communities GTA, the project was initially proposed at 27 stories and 327 residential units, but the latest plans decrease the stories to 24, while increasing the height from 82.26 meters to 86.35 meters, due to higher ceilings. The newest design delivers 327 residences, a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedrooms. Parking for 179 vehicles and 244 bicycles would be available on four underground levels.

At the southeast corner of the site, bordering on access to Islington Junior School, would be a landscaped 160 square meter Privately Owned Publicly Accessible Space (POPS). The building’s outdoor amenities would wrap around the west side of the building, continuing from the POPS.

Over the last few years, Tridel has been building their three-building Islington Terrace condo project, the tallest of which is 45 stories.
