Silverstone Developments has filed plans for a 25-story office tower on the city fringe of Brisbane. The proposal details a 25,810 square-meter Woods Bagot-designed scheme with bicycle and car parking across four podiums and two basement levels. The building’s proposal also includes 1362 square meters of communal open space and a rooftop with a subtropical garden.
The tower is earmarked for a 2339 square meters riverside site at Coronation Drive, Milton. The mixed-use zone was acquired by Silverstone last year for $13.3 million. According to plans established with Brisbane City Council, the new development would replace a four-story office building opposite the Milton ferry terminal on the corner site. A planning assessment report noted that the proposed overall height for the development was greater than existing buildings within its immediate context but appropriate for its landmark location along Coronation Drive.
