A fire was reported in the early hours of Monday morning, 7 November, 2022 at the 8 Boulevard Walk Tower in Downtown Dubai.
Located near the Burj Khalifa, the 35-story tower fire was extinguished just before 4am. The building has sustained extensive fire damage on the façade panning.
Previously, Orient Insurance paid an insurance settlement amount of AED1.2 billion ($380 million) to Emaar Properties in damages for a fire that occurred on New Year’s Eve 2015, at the Address Downtown hotel.
A ruling in favor of the contractors came in September by Dubai Courts of Appeal.
