An AU$600 million (US$391 million) funding package announced by Aqualand Group and Qualitas will be used to complete the construction of the mixed-use AURA by Aqualand luxury residential, retail and commercial development project in North Sydney.
Located at 168 Walker Street, the 98-meter-tall AURA by Aqualand will accommodate a luxury 30-level mixed-used development including 386 residential apartments, a retail and dining district, and commercial spaces. The project is already progressing with the underground carpark and podium level floor plates already complete and the residential levels now reaching past the fifth floor.
Completion is expected by the second half of 2024.
The project has been a strong success with buyers already and the 4,898-square-meter-site is well-positioned to contribute to the reactivation of the North Sydney CBD. Residents will benefit from boosted transit convenience with the completion of the new Victoria Cross Sydney Metro Station, which will start operations in 2024.
