A development proposed by Bosa Partners to bring twin rental towers downtown in Vancouver’s West End has had its permit application approved five months after the rezoning application was greenlit.

The latest application for the next stage of the project’s review is aligned with the design outlined during rezoning, with only very slight changes to the overall floor area and the number of homes. At 1065 Harwood street, the north tower will offer 275 secured rental homes, including 56 below-market rental homes and five levels of underground parking and bike parking. The south tower, located at 1066 Harwod Street will have just one less home at market prices, but will also offer 56-below market rental units as well as car parking spaces and secured bike spaces. The north tower will reach 216,000 square feet (20,067 square meters) and the south tower will reach 215,500 square feet.
