About

Graduated as an architect from UP1-Paris with a Legal diploma from the University of Panthéon-Assas, and a DEA in Philosophy of Art and a Doctorate in History of Art from the University of Panthéon-Sorbonne, among others, Ariane Dienstag started her professional activity by founding together with Diana Chieng an association (A3) to export architecture and art abroad for public institutions, before joining the AFEX (Architectes Français à l’Export). She then entered Jean Nouvel's ateliers in 1999 and left the practice in 2013 as Director of Business Development. She held a similar role with Jean-Paul Viguier et Associés during the following 5 years.

In 2018, she set up her own company to assist entities of the 'building trade', as a consultant for business development of design teams (for instance, Gustafson Porter+Bowman with the major renovation of the 54 ha of the Eiffel Tower Site, a sustainable project in KSA, a mixed-use operation in Nanjing) or initiating real estate developments (mainly in Europe). Ariane is a CTBUH Leader, Member of the Advisory Group, and General Secretary of the CTBUH French Chapter, which she set up in 2019. She is a lecturer at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Versailles for Planning Regulations and for several years has trained the candidates to the public selection for State Urban Planners (Architectes Urbanistes de l’Etat).

Her commitment to the built environment is deeply rooted in her dedication to its human occupants. This is reflected in her work supporting early childhood education through Petit Concept (a kindergarten she has been involved with for 25 years), and advocating for women through several associations such as The Club des Femmes du Bâtiment or Anne Lorient. Each of these efforts underscores her belief that architecture should enhance and support the lives of those who inhabit it.
