Tansri Muliani joined the Council as part-time Publications Associate in January 2010. Her first project was establishing the 2010 Mumbai conference archive. Tansri is responsible for the design and layout of the CTBUH Journal, maintains the CTBUH Events Calendar, and the CTBUH Resource Center.

Tansri is an RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects)-registered architect. She graduated with a first-class degree in Architecture from the Bandung Institute of Technology in Indonesia in 1996, and obtained a Masters degree in Urban Design from The Bartlett, University College London in 1999. Whilst undertaking her Masters degree, she won first prize in the International Design Competition for the Musi Riverside Tourism Development , Palembang, Indonesia, 1999 – First Prize.

Prior to joining CTBUH, Tansri worked as an architect in practice in Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, UK,and USA between 1996–2009. In Asia she worked for the multi-national architectural practice Liang Peddle Thorp (now Aedas), on high rise projects such as the 44-story condominia project of Kuningan Persada, Jakarta (1997). She was also part of the team delivering the prestigious £200 million Kuala Lumpur Central International Railway Terminal, Malaysia (completed 2001). While in the UK, she worked as Project Architect for Aedas Manchester, responsible for the design and implementation of various educational / institutional projects. She moved to Chicago in 2006. Immediately prior to joining the Council, she worked for Ridgeland Associates, a small architectural practice in her hometown of Oak Park, Illinois.
