William Maibusch

About
Mr. Maibusch has over 40 years experience in the construction industry. His project experience includes highrises, educational, and healthcare facilities, including Boeing's 777 Engineering Headquarters, the 63 story Gateway Tower (now called Seattle Municipal Tower) in Seattle USA, and a 112-story mixed use tower in Doha, Qatar.
He has worked throughout the USA's Pacific Northwest (Washington State, Oregon, Alaska) and served as a Project Director for a project management company in Doha, Qatar. He is currently working on large scale projects in Seattle, USA for a general contractor in Seattle as their Project Executive.
He is a Certified Construction Manager with the Construction Management Association of America and a LEED Accredited Professional. He holds Bachelor and Master degrees in Architecture from the University of Illinois USA.
He previously served on the Council's Board of Trustees as Secretary of the Board's Executive Committee, and was the Council's country representative while in Qatar. He currently serves on the Council's Height Committee.
While in Qatar, Mr. Maibusch founded the CTBUH Qatar Chapter, and organized regular regional meetings of CTBUH in the capital city of Doha. He also helped found the Seattle Chapter of CTBUH and now serves on its Board.
