Hilton shared on 27 October a major milestone in Saudi Arabia with the upcoming debut of Tempo by Hilton Riyadh Al Narjis, alongside surpassing 100 hotels trading and in the pipeline across the Kingdom. The announcement highlights Hilton’s long-term commitment to supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 by expanding its footprint and delivering world-class hospitality.

Scheduled to open in 2029 and developed in partnership with Al Theeb Hospitality, Tempo by Hilton Riyadh Al Narjis will introduce Hilton’s contemporary lifestyle brand to the region. The 135-room hotel, located along King Salman Road, will offer a lobby café and restaurant, a fitness center, and two meeting rooms, providing convenient access to nearby residential, commercial, and business districts. Designed for modern, ambitious travelers, Tempo by Hilton emphasizes wellness, flexibility, and purposefully crafted spaces that allow guests to maintain routines while on the move.

This project is part of Hilton’s wider strategy to expand across Saudi Arabia with 14 brands and more than 22,000 rooms in development, creating over 15,000 jobs where at least half are filled by Saudi nationals. Hilton’s current pipeline includes notable projects such as Conrad Riyadh Laysen Valley, set for 2026, and high-end properties under Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, and LXR brands across Riyadh, Diriyah, Al Ahsa, and Madinah.

In addition to Riyadh, Hilton is expanding in emerging regional cities with projects like Hijla Hotel Abha, Curio Collection by Hilton, expected to open in 2027.

Carlos Khneisser, Hilton’s chief development officer for the Middle East & Africa, emphasized the Kingdom’s momentum in tourism: “As we exceed 100 hotels trading and in the pipeline, and with nearly two-thirds already under construction, we remain committed to introducing new brands and expanding into more regional cities to meet the growing number of travellers visiting Saudi Arabia every year.”
