First Community Credit Union has acquired a 20-story office tower in northwest Houston that will serve as the organization’s new headquarters.

The 470,623-square-foot building at 1002 Noble Energy Way, formerly known as Noble Energy Center Two, is located in the Vintage Park/Tomball area. The Class A tower was originally developed as part of Noble Energy’s two-building corporate campus, breaking ground in 2013 and completing in 2015.

The purchase closed on February 27, though the transaction price was not disclosed. First Community Credit Union currently operates from its existing headquarters about 12 miles away on FM 529 near Highway 6. They were founded in 1954 and now serving more than 180,000 members with approximately US$2.9 billion in assets. It further positions the credit union within one of northwest Houston’s growing commercial corridors while repurposing a modern high-rise office building as a long-term corporate headquarters.
