Construction of the Skytower at Pinnacle One Yonge in Toronto has reached a major milestone, structurally topping out at 106 stories. Designed by Hariri Pontarini Architects and developed by Pinnacle International, the supertall is expected to reach 351 meters (1,153 feet) upon completion.

The 12-sided tapered building forms the centerpiece of the Pinnacle One Yonge waterfront complex near Queens Quay. Once complete, the building will include 958 residential units, extensive amenities, and the Le Méridien Toronto Pinnacle. In October 2025, CVU delegates at the International Conference got an exclusive tour of the building under construction, in which it had then reached 90 floors.

SkyTower is the first building in Canada to exceed 100 stories, surpassing the nearby One Bloor West. Although the project will be Canada’s tallest occupied building, Toronto planning rules maintain that no structure may exceed the height of the CN Tower.

The project is part of a broader wave of high-rise development reshaping Toronto’s skyline, with several supertall and mixed-use projects currently under construction across the city.
