Construction is underway on Selton Skye, a 27-story twin-tower residential development in Accra, Ghana, that has the potential to become one of the country’s tallest residential buildings. Developed by Capemay Properties, part of the Adjei family’s Pinnacle Holding Company, the project will introduce 125 luxury apartments along the George W. Bush Highway in North Dzorwulu, a growing commercial district near Kotoka International Airport.
The development comprises two residential buildings, named Allure and Arancia, connected by a shared two-story podium. Their distinctive architectural composition creates a dynamic relationship between the buildings, with one stepping back to form a series of terraces while the other projects outward to provide shading. The arrangement introduces outdoor residential spaces at multiple elevations, responding to Accra’s tropical climate through the building’s massing.
Residential offerings include three-bedroom apartments ranging from approximately 141 to 328 square meters, along with larger residences and a single penthouse measuring approximately 1,160 square meters. Amenities will include a sky pool, fitness center, cinema, coworking facilities, grocery store, pharmacy, and a restaurant opening onto a shared courtyard. Selected floors will accommodate short-term stays, reflecting the site’s proximity to major corporate offices and business destinations.
Launched in 2024, Selton Skye began excavation and foundation work in 2025 and is scheduled for completion in 2028. The project follows Capemay’s earlier twin-building residential development, The Signature, in East Legon, completed in 2022.
Selton Skye reflects the continued expansion of high-rise residential development in Accra, where growing commercial activity and demand for centrally located housing are encouraging greater vertical density. Its combination of residential accommodation, hospitality-oriented services, and shared amenities illustrates the emergence of increasingly complex mixed-use residential buildings within Ghana’s capital.
