As part of the final phase of the Antara master plan, Rosewood Mexico City hotel will occupy the mixed-use development’s newest building. Located in the Polanco district, the hotel will occupy 10 floors of the 48-story tower to provide 133 rooms, 35 of which will be suites, and four food and beverage outlets including an all-day eatery, a poolside bar and grill, a living room restaurant and a specialty dining venue.
Intended for hotel guests and the local community alike, the hotel will also feature a wellness space concept, comprised of two swimming pools, a state-of-the-art fitness and well-being center, eight treatment rooms and changing rooms and thermal wet areas. Dedicated meeting and event spaces will total 1,270 square meters.
Designed by Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos, the hotel is expected to open in 2024. Antara’s construction began in 2006 with the Fashion Hall open-air shopping center, which was later followed by two office buildings, Corporativo Antara and Corporativo Antara II.
Upon opening, Rosewood Mexico City will mark Rosewood Hotels & Resorts’ 20th property in the Americas.
