Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) has announced that the centerpiece of its Uptown Dubai District has topped out at 329 meters.
The final concrete pour for the Uptown Tower’s roof on level 79 was completed by the project team while the steel crown of the building will be completed by the end of March 2022, which will take the final height of the tower to 340 meters.
Uptown Tower is expected to be fully completed in the third quarter of 2022, a statement said.
It added that over 23,000 trucks delivered approximately 140,000 cubic meters of concrete to the project, with around 30,000 metric tons (33,069 tons) of steel used as reinforcement to achieve this project milestone.
