The Jinan Xintai Center, located in the core area of Jinan’s Central Business District (CBD), is a landmark project jointly developed by CITIC Pacific Properties and Lixia Holding Group. The T1 Tower, the centerpiece of the development, stands approximately 330 meters tall, making it the tallest building developed by CITIC Pacific Properties in mainland China. Construction began in 2021, with the ceremonial topping-out completed in December 2024.

The project was co-designed by Wang Wuren, a leading expert in supertall buildings in China, and the international design firm Aedas. It has achieved LEED Gold Pre-Certification and Three-Star Green Building Certification. Additionally, the development has been recognized with multiple accolades, including the Asia Pacific Property Awards and the American Master Architect Award.

The Jinan Xintai Center symbolizes CITIC Pacific’s commitment to excellence in architectural design and construction technology while reflecting the company’s confidence in Jinan’s future growth and development. The T1 Tower also holds significant civic importance, as it is expected to serve as a milestone in the CBD’s modernization efforts. During the topping-out ceremony, Yang Futao, Deputy Secretary of the Lixia District Committee and District Mayor, emphasized that the project represents a major breakthrough in the development of the CBD. He highlighted its role as a key landmark showcasing Jinan’s modernization and as a window for Lixia District to present its image and boost its competitiveness on the world stage.
