CTBUH 2024 Europe Conference

Join us for the CTBUH 2024 Europe Conference, 18 & 19 April, in Istanbul, to explore the obstacles and opportunities facing European cities today. 

With its unique history, economic dynamism, and developing skyline, Istanbul is the perfect stage for a continent-wide debate on the many natural, geopolitical, and technological challenges European cities face in the first decades of the new millennium. With their ever-evolving economies, comparatively strong recoveries after the pandemic, and the effects of climate change now becoming evident, European cities are on the brink of a significant transformation featuring vertical and dense clusters side by side with more historic neighborhoods; will their centuries-old histories and resilience reveal the key for success? Urban planners, developers, architects, and thought leaders will share their insights in an engaging and dynamic debate, populated with case studies and updates on the most relevant innovations from the tall building industry.

Over the years, CTBUH has coordinated representatives in cities and countries around the world to promote its activities on a local scale. However, we have identified the need for opportunities to develop regional themes and activities, a layer between the local and the global. Following the enthusiastic support for the European hub during the Frankfurt conference in June 2023, we look forward to bringing this dynamic event to Istanbul in April 2024.
