Work is underway on a 335-unit Build-to-Rent project in Sheffield on Sylvester Street.
Developed by Winvic, the PLATFORM_Sheffield project will include buildings between seven and 14 stories. In addition to the apartments, the project will provide community roof terraces, shared ground floor social areas, and two commercial spaces totalling 711 square meters (7,650 square feet). A newly formed bicycle and walking path will include a viewing area over Porter Brook.
Steel frame construction with a façade utilizing three types of brick with projecting piers and header features will keep aesthetics in line with the surrounding area.
Project completion is expected by summer 2023.
