Demolition has begun at 350 Park Avenue in Midtown East, Manhattan, site of a future 1,414-foot (431-meter) supertall designed by Foster + Partners for developers Vornado Realty Trust, Rudin, Citadel and Citadel Securities, according to New York YIMBY. The 64-story office building will provide 1.8 million square feet (167,000 square meters) of Class A office space with capacity for 6,000 employees.

The building’s massing steps back through seven rectangular, glass-clad volumes with rounded corners, tapering toward the west as it rises. The lower four setbacks will carry landscaped terraces, and the top three will form a tiered crown. Citadel and Citadel Securities will be an anchor tenant for the building, occupying at least 850,000 square feet (79,000 square meters). The project follows the New York City Council’s unanimous approval in September 2025 and will draw on US$150 million in air rights purchased from St. Patrick’s Cathedral and Saint Bartholomew’s Church.

The US$4.5 billion project is expected to be complete by 2032. The development will also contribute more than US$35 million to the East Midtown Public Realm Improvement Fund and add a 12,500-square-foot (1,160-square-meter) public plaza designed by Field Operations, along with ground-floor retail and restaurant space.
