With construction starting in 2023, the developer has recently appointed Permasteelisa Group to deliver the custom curtain wall for the East Tower of the new Forma development in Toronto, designed by renowned architect Frank Gehry.

Forma is a mixed-use project featuring residential, commercial, retail, and public spaces. The East Tower, the first phase of the development, will rise 74 stories and include 864 residential units.

Permasteelisa will design, engineer, and build over 35,000 square meters of bespoke curtain wall, including 7,500 units and various vents. Production will take place in Italy and Montreal, with installation starting in October 2025 and completion by August 2028. Forma will be one of Toronto’s tallest buildings at 266.5 meters.
