At 69 floors, a Park Hyatt hotel Tower has been proposed for Ho Chi Minh City’s District 7. The building will contain both the 300-room Hyatt Place Saigon and the 250-room Hyatt House Saigon, catering to short- and long-term stays. The building may take the title of Ho Chi Minh City’s second-tallest upon completion and certification by CTBUH. Currently, that distinction is held by the Bitexco Financial Tower.

The project will occupy the center of the 34-acre (14-hectare) Eco Green Saigon development, less than two kilometers from the planned Phú Mỹ Hưng New (PMH) Urban Area. The entire development is set to include residential units, offices, event and garden spaces, and a primary school, in addition to the luxury hotel.

Construction of Eco Green Saigon began in the first quarter of 2018 and is planned to open in 2021. Some elements, including the central park, have already been completed, while construction clatters on for the surrounding buildings.

The Park Hyatt hotel tower is expected to open in 2023. The hotel brand has signed a management agreement with Xuan Mai Sai Gon Construction Investment Joint Stock Company, the investor behind the entire Eco Green Saigon development. It is designed by Australia-based Plus Architecture.
