The construction firm Multiplex UK has been selected to build a groundbreaking 36-story office tower at 50 Fenchurch Street. The building is projected to be one of the country’s lowest carbon workplace high-rises. With the start of foundation work about to begin confirmed by CTBUH, the project will feature 60,387 square meters of technologically advanced, sustainable workspace that includes gardens and planted terraces extending to the top, reaching 150 meters high. Occupying over an acre, 50 Fenchurch sits on the southern edge of the City’s tower cluster, providing panoramic river views over Tower Bridge, the Tower of London and the Southbank.

The design is led by Eric Parry Architects and Adamson Associates with Arup engineering. Both Multiplex and the developer AXA, emphasize that this project will be a benchmark for future workplaces in London, marking a significant milestone in the city’s architectural development. It has a target for completion in 2028.
