Phase II of the Dajia Insurance Group Headquarters has been completed in Shenzhen, delivering a major new commercial complex in the city’s Houhai district. Constructed by China State Construction Engineering Corporation, the development comprises a 54-story main tower and two ancillary buildings, totaling approximately 217,000 square meters of floor area.
Designed as a prominent addition to Shenzhen’s rapidly evolving skyline, the project features a distinctive “crystal hourglass” form, achieved through advanced digital modeling and construction techniques. The team employed Building Information Modeling (BIM) alongside a hybrid prefabrication and on-site assembly strategy, improving efficiency and precision throughout the build.
The development has already received multiple provincial-level awards for construction quality and structural performance. Upon full operation, it is expected to serve as a key landmark in the Houhai area, reinforcing Shenzhen’s role as a center for finance, innovation, and high-density urban growth.
