A 60- and 65-story mixed-use high-rise redevelopment is proposed at 245 Eglinton Avenue East, across from the future Mount Pleasant station on Toronto’s Eglinton Line 5. Designed by Superkül for Crestview Investment Corporation, the buildings would rise in the heart of Midtown’s high-density growth corridor, replacing a four-story commercial building that has long anchored the site.

The proposal, submitted by Colliers on behalf of the developer, includes 1,278 residential units within a total Gross Floor Area of 87,438 square meters. This includes 84,588 square meters of residential and 2,850 square meters of retail, with townhouse units lining Taunton Road and active retail frontages along Eglinton and Mount Pleasant. A 542 square meter POPS would occupy the prominent northwest corner, while indoor and outdoor amenities span across multiple levels.

Rising to 199.3 meters and 214.3 meters, the two high-rises would sit atop a shared 2- to 3-story podium. Of the one-bedroom units, 15 percent are designed to be convertible to two-bedroom layouts. Bicycle parking would total 1,445 spaces, with only 127 vehicle spots spread across three underground levels.

Situated in a Major Transit Station Area, the site supports high density near transit and is just a 10-minute walk from Eglinton Station on Line 1. The project also benefits from nearby surface routes, cycle tracks, and the Kay Gardner Beltline Trail.
