About
Appointed, Executive Director and Group Chief Executive Officer of Far East Orchard Limited on 1 January 2020, Mr. Alan Tang sits on the Board and chairs the Investment Committee of TFE Hotels. With his rich and balanced experience in the global hospitality real estate capital market and operations, Mr. Tang leads and provides overall leadership on the strategy, operations, and performance of the Group’s business. He further expanded the Group’s presence beyond Singapore with plans to grow a sustainable and recurring income through a lodging platform built on hospitality and purpose-built student accommodation.
Prior to joining the Group, he held senior executive leadership positions at GIC Real Estate Pte Ltd and was also Chief Operating Officer of Frasers Hospitality International Pte Ltd, leading hotels and serviced apartment operations worldwide. Mr. Tang received a Bachelor of Science (with distinction) in 1992 from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst. In 2016, he completed the Capital Markets and Financial Advisory Services Examination (Module 10).
