Albert Giralt
About
Albert Giralt graduated from the Barcelona School of Architecture in 2006 and has collaborated with leading architectural practices in Barcelona, London, and Paris. He joined the Renzo Piano Building Workshop in 2009, contributing to major international projects such as the renovation of Martyrs’ Square in Beirut, the École normale supérieure Paris-Saclay, and Shard Place, a residential high-rise building in The London Bridge Quarter, next to The Shard. Currently, he leads the design of Tokio Marine’s new headquarters in Tokyo, a 120,000 square-meter project using unprecedented quantities of structural wood to minimize carbon footprint. Albert became a Partner in June 2021.
