About
Alvin Gozali is transforming the way people live, work and play in Jakarta. In the early 2000’s, he returned to Indonesia determined to localize new international concepts for the Southeast Asia market. In 2004 he co-founded a bowling alley and billiard club that grew into 12 separate dining, sports and entertainment concepts. In 2006, he expanded into property development with the 46-story UOB Plaza in Jakarta’s CBD. Together with Leonel Gozali, the brothers’ Galeon Group has recently completed Thamrin Nine, a landmark mixed-use destination in the heart of Jakarta.
Autograph Tower is the centerpiece of Thamrin Nine, soaring 1,256 feet, the tallest building in the Southern Hemisphere. Offering over 1.6 million square feet of space, Autograph Tower houses Grade A offices, private school, the highest observation deck in the Southern Hemisphere and the highest outdoor pool in the world. Thamrin Nine also includes: the 984 foot Luminary Tower; Agora an activity and entertainment-focused lifestyle podium; four hospitality offerings; sports and recreation facilities; and the luxurious 115 key Le Parc Residences. Thamrin Nine totals 7.5 million square feet in the heart of Indonesia’s capital, making it one of the largest mixed-use projects in Southeast Asia.
A Finance and Communications graduate of Boston College, Mr. Gozali leads Galeon Group’s projects from feasibility onward. He guides the design, engineering, architecture, sales, and development of all components. Fired by the pioneering spirit of Boston, Mr. Gozali leads by example, his passion for innovation and quality continuously pushing him and the team to new heights.
