About
Arun Mankavu-Puthanpurayil has two decades combined experience in professional structural engineering consultancy and advanced research in non-linear seismic dynamic analysis in the UK, New Zealand, and India. He has in-depth expertise in computational elastic/inelastic-dynamics and experimental dynamics which leverages his experience in conventional structural design using steel, concrete, and masonry. His major strength lies in the fastest delivery of advanced complex projects using Multi-Objective Optimized Dynamic Design, which is peer reviewed by world leading experts. Recently completed projects leveraging this capability include the viscous damper design for 8 Willis Street and the St James Theatre & Ballet Building seismic retrofit.
