Arvind Kumar is a sales director for Hydro Building Systems Middle East (Technal, Wicona). He is an engineer and LEED Green Associate who works in the field of architectural aluminum in the Greater Middle East Markets. This involves extending partnerships with building designers, architects, consultants, developers and contractors and range from projects that are designing an exquisite panoramic sliding door for a luxury chalet to a bespoke aluminum facade system for high-rise buildings.
Working for Technal and Wicona that is part of the Hydro Building Systems and one of the world’s leading sustainable aluminum system manufacturer, Kumar’s work further extends into the topics like Climate Change and addressing this through viable carbon circular solutions for the building envelopes of tomorrow. Additionally, he shares building envelope trends and participates in academic exchanges with architecture students and schools.
