Benjamin Simmons
About
Benjamin Simmons has been responsible for coordinating all phases of design and construction for some of Pickard Chilton’s highest-profile projects. He is currently serving as Design Team Leader for Hines’ PG&E Campus in San Francisco and the Oakland office tower in Oakland, California. Most recently, he directed Hines’ One WorldCenter, a mixed-use high-rise featuring Class A office, multifamily residential, and retail in the Miami Worldcenter Development. Previously, he served as project lead for River Point, a 50-story high rise in Chicago as well as Eaton House, Eaton’s global headquarters in Dublin, Ireland.
Mr. Simmons has managed and been a key member of design teams for the OLC Integrated Development, a multi-tower 1.5 million gsf office development in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Eaton Center, a corporate campus in Beachwood, Ohio; the 1000+ meter Kingdom Tower in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia; the 50-story Eighth Avenue Place in Calgary, Alberta; 300 North LaSalle, a 60-story high-rise in Chicago, Illinois; 1180 Peachtree in Atlanta, Georgia; AIM Corporate Headquarters in Houston, Texas; Wells Fargo Headquarters in Des Moines, Iowa; and The Atrium, a residential tower in Dubai, UAE.
As a result of his extensive experience with all phases of project design and delivery, Mr. Simmons has a great depth of knowledge in the design and coordination of buildings and in particular building enclosures, including curtain wall detailing, glazing and material behavior. Mr. Simmons received a Bachelor of Architecture from Oklahoma State University.
