About
Carl Schibrowski is the Executive Vice President and Co-Head of Brookfield Properties. He is responsible for all development activities in Australia. He has built and led a team that is responsible for completing Brookfield Place Tower 2, Perth, in 2015 and Classic East Melbourne Residential in 2018, as well as Brookfield Place, Sydney, and 405 Bourke St, Melbourne in 2021. He has development pipelines in the Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane markets.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2012, Schibrowski was a Development Director at the Charter Hall Group, where he was responsible for all the Victorian and South Australian development activities, including the development of BHP Billiton’s new global headquarters at 171 Collins Street in Melbourne. He has also worked with the Macquarie Group and Lendlease Corporation in development roles. He has over 22 years of real estate experience, working in Australia, Spain and the United States.
Schibrowski received an MBA from Melbourne Business School, where he was awarded the Rupert Murdoch Fellowship in 2004. He also holds a Bachelor of Science (Arch.) Degree from Sydney University and a first-class honors Bachelor of Architecture from Melbourne University, where he graduated as dux in 1996.
