About
Born in Uruguay, Architect Carlos Ott has over 50 years of outstanding experience in design and construction of architecture and urban planning projects, including residential, commercial, mixed-use developments, hotels, airports, opera houses and concert halls. Internationally recognized as leader in design, Carlos Ott has received numerous international prizes and awards of merit.
After an intense professional activity in important architectural firms in the United States and Canada, he began his independent career in 1983, winning the competition for the Bastille Opera (France).In 1988, he started his own firm in Toronto, Canada, and since then expanded to Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Americas. Carlos Ott’s firm has worldwide presence, developing projects in Canada, United Arab Emirates, China, France, United States, Argentina, Germany, Uruguay, and Brazil.
Currently, his main office is in Uruguay.
